ATLANTA -- The Georgia State Patrol has charged the driver of a pickup truck involed in a Monday morning crash on the Downtown Connector.
According to state troppers, 8 people, mostly minors, were riding in the bed of the pickup truck when it crashed, They were all transported to the hospital. Another five were in the cab of the truck and they weren't injured.

The troopers said the Dodge Ram was heading north, when the driver tried to exit and hit a retaining wall at Exit 249D near Spring Street and the Civic Center MARTA station Downtown.
The driver, Jack Rodger Rozsos, is being charged with crossing a median and five counts of having children riding unrestrained in the bed of the truck.
