DUNWOODY, Ga. -- A man was shot and killed early Friday at the Peachtree Place Apartments off Peachtree Place Parkway in Dunwoody.
The shooting happened just after midnight, according to Dunwoody Police. The victim, 30-year-old Roberto Calderon-Guzman, was found inside an apartment. He had been shot at least once.
Calderon-Guzman was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Dunwoody Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Carlson.
Witnesses told police they saw the shooter running from the apartments. They described him as a short, heavyset black man with short hair, according to Carlson.
Police did not release a motive for the shooting or any information about a possible suspect.
