ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division has issued a Code Orange air quality alert for Saturday.
The outdoor air is likely to be unhealthy for some people. Children, people who are sensitive to ozone and people with heart or lung disease are advised to limit prolonged outdoor exertion during the late afternoon and early evening hours when ozone concentrations are at their highest.
Temperatures Saturday are expected to be in the mid 90s under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures should remain in the 90s Sunday and Monday with a chance of showers and storms both days.
