A UGA spokesman said an agreement signed after negations between the school and lawyers for Max Reinhart will allow UGA to avoid a costly and lengthy tenure revocation against Reinhart, the paper reports.
The professor of German will retire in May 2013.
Reinhart was arrested after investigators say he dressed as a woman and offered an undercover officer 30 minutes of sex for $60.
He has taught at UGA since 1998 and was granted tenure in 1994. Now he will be assigned duties outside the classroom until he retires.
