CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- The 13-year-old teen shot by a Clayton County Police officer Wednesday afternoon has died.
The boy, Trevion Davis, was shot while Clayton County officers responded to a burglary-in-progress.
According to Clayton County Police, the suspects were exiting the home on Bonanza Church Road, off Tara Boulevard when the shooting occurred.
Davis was transported to Egleston Children's Hospital where he died on Wednesday afternoon.
Clayton County Police said they are actively searching for a second suspect.
