COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Authorities in Colorado have lifted more evacuation orders for people who had to flee their homes because of the worst wildfire in state history.
About 7,000 more people were allowed to return to their residences on Sunday night. At the peak of the Waldo Creek fire that broke out last week more than 30,000 people were displaced.
Crews continue to make progress fighting the blaze in Colorado Springs. It's now 45 percent contained. The 26-square mile fire is one of many fires burning across the West.
