NEW YORK -- Federal authorities say they're searching for a missing bank executive suspected of embezzling $17 million.
Aubrey Lee Price had worked at an undisclosed bank in southern Georgia.
The FBI says he disappeared last month after telling friends he'd lost a large amount of money. He also said he planned to kill himself.
A spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office in Brooklyn, where Price is charged, said Tuesday that his whereabouts are still unknown.
A criminal complaint says that after making fraudulent transfers, the 46-year-old banker traveled to Venezuela. It says he also owned a boat large enough to travel from Florida to South America.
