Magdeline's grandmother, 14-year-old brother and a 13-year-old cousin from the Dominican Republic died after the crash. The van's driver also died.
Family friends said that Magdeline was in stable condition Tuesday.
Magdeline, her grandmother and her brother lived in Georgia but her family has roots in the Dominican Republic. They were in Miami to visit friends.
Police say it's still not clear what caused the van's driver to lose control of his vehicle.
