More than 2,000 people representing 110 entries took part in the two hour long parade, which began at Roswell Street Baptist Church, wound through the Marietta Square and continued up Cherokee Street to North Marietta Parkway.
Marietta's square was blocked off all day and into the evening for the Fourth in the Park Festival, which included crafts, games and food.
The July 4th celebration ends Wednesday night after fireworks, which are scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m.
11Alive's Paul Crawley covered the parade and put together a highlight video as well as a photo gallery.
