DALLAS, Ga. -- Paulding County Sheriff's investigators are looking for a 17 year old accused of running over a fellow teen.
Diante Andre Rosado is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault, according to Paulding County Sheriff's spokesman Cpl. Ashley Henson.
Henson said Rosado got into a fight with a 15 year old boy on Sunday in the Twelve Oaks subdivision off of East Paulding Drive. Witnesses told police that Rosado got into his truck, knocked down the 15 year old and then ran him over.
The boy, whose name was not released, was taken to a local hospital.
Rosado is described as a black teen, about 5-feet-9-inches tall and 150 pounds. He was driving a green Ford F-150, Henson said.
Investigators believe Rosado may be on his way to Canada with his mother, 43-year-old Shelevia Raquero Proctor. Henson described Proctor as a black woman, about 5-feet-5-inches tall and 205 pounds. He said the pair may be traveling in Proctor's black 2011 Toyota Highlander with Georgia tag BRL9860, and may try to enter Canada through the Buffalo, N.Y. border crossing.
Anyone who sees Rosado and Proctor or knows their whereabouts is asked to call the Paulding County Sheriff's Office at 770-443-3010 or the anonymous tip line at 770-445-5535.
