ATLANTA -- Major Metro Atlanta companies are in the hiring mode right now with over a thousand jobs.
Three hundred of those are to staff Home Depot's new customer service center in Kennesaw. Once in full swing, they plan to add another 400 jobs.

State Farm hiring 500 new employees to staff a customer service center of its own opening in Dunwoody.
AT&T is hiring 200 people in sales, advertising and technical areas.
At Atlanta-based Coca-Cola, more than 130 jobs are open for veterans.
At UPS, 50 jobs are open, primarily part time, in shipping and packaging.
Outside of Metro Atlanta, check out Caterpillar. They will be hiring 1,400 employees over the next 3 years for a new plant opening near Athens.
