MARIETTA, Ga. -- Due to a car accident, Riverside Parkway from South Services to the Bluffs will be closed on Tuesday morning.
During the earlier crash, a single car crashed into a fire hydrant and caused a water main line to break.
Cobb County Police says portions of the roadway washed away as a result of water and pressure from the main line.
The roadway will be closed until the necessary repairs can be made.
