ATLANTA -- A wreck involving a minivan and an Xpress bus caused several delays on southbound Interstate 85 Tuesday morning.
The wreck happened just north of North Druid Hills Road in DeKalb County, according to Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Chata Spikes.
DeKalb County Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said the van cut off the bus, causing the bus to run into the van.
The female driver of the van was taken to Emory University Hospital, while her two children were taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. All three suffered minor injuries, Parish said. Their names were not released.
Spikes said 31 people were aboard the bus when it crashed, but no one was injured.
The HOV lane and two leftmost lanes were affected by the crash.
Parish said the woman driving the van now faces a charge of improper lane change.
