ATLANTA -- Police are offering a $2,000 reward to anyone with information on three men who shot Atlanta rapper J. Money last month.
According to a police report, Atlanta Police responded to a report of a person shot at 1919 Metropolitan Parkway on May 27.
The person shot, Eddie Miller AKA J. Money, said he was renting out Club LaCura for a video shoot and when he went to get a couple friends from the front door, he was shot twice in the arm and once in the leg by three men.
According to J. Money and another witness, the men pulled up alongside the club in a white Crown Victoria, jumped out and began shooting.
The witness claims the only reason anyone would want to shoot the victim was because he was "famous and a singer."
Although J. Money refused to comment on the incident to authorities, police obtained a description of one of the suspects.
The suspect is described as a slim, 5'08" to 5'10" black male with a dark complexion and shoulder-length dreads.
Police think the suspect may be affiliated with the "Raised on Cleveland" gang and that the shooting may be an act of retaliation.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477),
