Several emails that are making it past users junk mail filters could  potentially disable your computer or allow thieves to steal your identity.

Scambusters.org is warning about an email that purports to be from UPS that indicates you have a package waiting for pickup.    Clicking on attachments within the email can install malware that could take control of your computer and steal your identity.

Another spam email purports to be from Ford Motor Company advertising a sale on vehicles. There is also an article circulating online as well as via email saying Facebook is shutting down July 15th and warning members they will lose all their photos unless you take them down.  The source of the rumor is a satirical article written by Weekly World News.  A Facebook spokeswoman says the rumor is false.
