LOVEJOY, Ga. -- The Georgia Bureau of Investigators is waiting for forensic results from a sexual assault that happened last Thursday in Clayton County.
Clayton County Police responded to the alleged sexual assault near the Rose Commons Drive area in Lovejoy.
According to police, the minor victim said she was walking through the neighborhood when she was accosted, taken into the wood line and sexually assaulted. The victim told police her attacker then ran into a nearby neighborhood.
The victim described her attacker as a black male in his mid to late 20s, approximately 6'1" in height with a muscular build and a tattoo on his inner left forearm. Clayton County Police released a sketch of the man Monday morning.
