PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- Two men in Peachtree City were struck by lightning during a passing storm on Friday evening.
According to Peachtree City Fire, the men were standing near a tree at Lake Peachtree on Battery Way when they were struck.
Witnesses say lightening struck the tree and the two men were hit.
One man was knocked unconscious as a result of the strike; he was transported to Piedmont Fayette Hospital. His condition is unknown.
The other man was treated, at the scene, and transported to Atlanta Medical Center where he remains in stable condition.
