ATLANTA -- The top seeds and fan favorites will be in action Thursday at the BB&T Atlanta Open.

Late afternoon rains have tournament officials with an eye on the ski as a full slate of play will begin at 1 p.m.

First up on stadium court will be James Blake, who will face Matthew Ebden in a second round match. Blake was a surprise winner over Ryan Harrison in the first round.

Also at 1 p.m. on the grandstand court, Atlanta's Donald Young will team with South Afircan Raven Klaasen for doubles against Santiago Gonzalez and Scott Lipsky.

The second match on stadium will be No. 2 seed and two-time defending champion Mardy Fish against Gilles Muller. Fish has enjoyed great success at Atlanta Athletic Club and Racquet Club of the South. Now he takes aim at a third straight title at the new location, Atlantic Station.

That match will be followed by a match up of two exciting young American players -- Steve Johnson and Jack Sock -- which promises to be a treat and a glimpse into the future of American tennis.

Later, the match that so many local tennis fans have been waiting all week for will take place, as No. 1 seed John Isner comes to stadium court to take on Ruben Bemelmans of Belgium. This match is slated to start no earlier than 7 p.m.

The UGA colors, red and black, are always easy to see when former Bulldog All-American Isner plays. Isner won last week's tournament at Newport and is playing Atlanta as a final tune up before heading back to Wimbledon for the Olympics.
