HOOVER, Al. -- A fire at the Riverchase Galleria in the Birmingham suburb of Hoover broke out Friday afternoon.
Fire department officials told Birmingham NBC station WVTM that a transformer near the Belk store in the mall caught fire.
The mall was evacuated and the fire was put out. No injuries were reported.
