CLARKSTON, Ga. -- Ronald Williams is 11Alive's Fugitive of the Week for July 25.
Williams, 41, is wanted by the DeKalb County Sheriff's Fugitive Squad for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The charges stem from an incident that happened on December 28, 2011, when Williams got into an argument with another man outside a home on Reilly Lane in Clarkston.
"He fired rounds into the home as a result of a dispute over money," Sgt. Adrion Bell with the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said.
A person at the home said her whole family was inside the house when the shooting happened. She did not want to be identified, but said two children were standing in the front entrance when the shots were fired.
No one was hit. One bullet also went into a neighbor's house.
Sgt. Bell said Williams is also wanted in Monroe County on drug charges and a probation violation. He has an extensive criminal record.
"He has charges dating back to 2001, mostly drug charges, obstruction of officers, theft and a host of other charges," Bell said.
Seven months after the latest incident, Williams is still on the loose.
"But we do believe that he is still in the area," Sgt. Bell said. "We would deem him as being armed and dangerous."
Williams goes to the top of our most wanted list on Rowson's Crime Scene as our Fugitive of the Week. If you know where Williams is, call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS(8477).
