ATLANTA -- A tanker overturned on northbound Interstates 75 and 85 in south Atlanta Friday afternoon.
The Georgia Department of Transportation has said that the northbound lanes are now open. The tanker truck has been either removed or pushed to the side, but drivers can expect minor delays minor delays throughout the afternoon.
The tanker was involved in an accident with a sedan and turned over just south of Langford Parkway, according to GDOT.
GDOT spokeswoman Chata Spikes said the tanker leaked aluminum sulfide. About 75 gallons of the chemical had leaked as of 2:45 p.m.
There were no reports of any injuries.
