ATLANTA, Ga. -- Atlanta Police have terminated an officer who was charged for his involvement in a car accident last Saturday in southwest Atlanta.
Chief George Turner of the Atlanta Police Department released this statement Friday afternoon:
"Today, Atlanta Police Chief George N. Turner terminated Officer Joshua Sieck's employment with the Atlanta Police Department effective immediately.
The Atlanta Police Department continues to send our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Mrs. Jacqueline Culp."
Officer Sieck was charged, on Thursday, with 2nd degree vehicular homicide for an accident that killed an Atlanta woman on Monday.
