LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- A 10-year-old boy is relieved to be ok after he watched robbers steal his game consoles while hiding under the bed.
Christopher King was home alone at the time. He called police and hid under his bed after he heard class shattering downstairs in the middle of the day Friday.
"I was so scared I wanted to just burst out crying," King said. "But I was like 'Chris just calm down, stay cool and collected.'"
While King spoke with the dispatcher, the two men were making their way up to his room. He said he watched their feet as they moved around packing.
"I honestly thought they were going to look down and see me," King said.
When officers arrived they arrested one suspect, 19-year-old D'andrew Greene. They quickly found the electronic equipment that was taken. Police said the remaining suspect is at large, and King was happy to see his father come home a few minutes later.
"I came downstairs crying and gave him a big huge hug and it was over," King said. "I was so happy that everything was over and I was safe and everything's fine."
