FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Falcons fans are happy to see #55 back on the practice field at Flowery Branch. Defensive End John Abraham was a free agent, who chose to continue to play in Atlanta.

"Since we've been here Abe has been our best pass rusher," said Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith."With free agency, there are no gurantees that you will get everybody back."

Abraham  is excited to be reunited with Falcons new Defensive Coordinator, Mike Nolan and expects something special to happen with the team this fall." I didn't want to miss out on it", says Abraham.

The Falcons ended last season with a first round playoff loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion New York Giants. It's clear that just making the playoffs won't be good enough for John Abraham and his teammates." It's time to get over the hump", says Abraham.
