ATLANTA -- The Department of Public Works announced that the Fairburn Road Bridge over the CSX Railroad reopened Friday.
The bridge is located near North Camp Creek Parkway, in Council District 11, according to the Department of Public Works. It was originally built in the 1930's. GDOT replaced it after it had begun to deteriorate.
"The project was listed as a priority in the City's Infrastructure Replacement Plan and we are pleased to have it reopened for the community," said Richard Mendoza, Commissioner, Department of Public Works.
