ATLANTA -- Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens has been tapped to be a speaker at the Republican National Convention later this month in Tampa.
Olens joins a list of headliners that includes Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Florida Attorney General Pam Biondi, U.S. Sen. John McCain, former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley and others.
"I am humbled to be among the distinguished speakers," Olens said in a release. "I will also be representing Georgia as a delegate and look forward to participating in the official nomination of Gov. Mitt Romney."
The convention is Aug. 27-30 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
