ATLANTA, Ga. -- It is a possibility that some lucky person will wake up $212 million richer on Thursday morning.
On Monday, the Georgia Lottery increased Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot to $212 million.
The jackpot has grown since July 27 and has rolled over twelve times.
Proceeds from the Georgia Lottery benefit education in the state of Georgia.
Powerball offers winners two payment options which are the jackpot prize paid over 29 years or $142 million, in cash.
