ATLANTA -- A Sandy Springs man has admitted to killing his girlfriend's Pomeranian and then beating her with it.

Emmanual Alfredo Tadeo pleaded guilty Thursday to charges of Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Animal Cruelty, Animal Cruelty and Battery, according to the Fulton County District Attorney's Office. Aggravated Animal Cruelty is a felony.
Sentencing for the 28 year old has been put on hold, pending a psychiatric evaluation.
