ATLANTA -- According to a new report, of the 20 largest U.S. metro areas, Atlanta is No. 17 for Generation Y workers.
Median pay for Atlantans between ages 18 and 29 is $40,700, according to a report by Seattle-based PayScale Inc. Some 20 percent of all workers here are Gen Y, the report also notes.
Seattle topped Houston and Minneapolis for No. 1 for Gen Y workers because of its strong wage growth and abundant number of tech firms.
