According to Lamkin, they were arrested when each of the four traveled to Ringgold for the purposes of meeting a minor to have sex. The four had entered into a series of chats with undercover agents and officers before they came to the Ringgold location and were arrested.

Lamkin said Murphy and Allen were arrested on August 18. Banther was taken into custody on August 12, and Jones was arrested on August 15.

All four men have been charged with attempted child molestation and violation of the federal Computer Pornography Act.

They were booked into the Catoosa County Detention Center.
