David Alan Wolf of Rock Hill, SC, was arrested in Barrow County after police said he came to Georgia intending to have sex with a 34-year-old woman he had chatted with on the Internet; police said he also planned to have sex with the woman's 8-year-old daughter. The 34-year-old was an undercover Winder police officer working as part of an internet investigation.
WINDER, Ga. - Investigators in Barrow County arrested a 62-year-old South Carolina man in connection with an undercover online child molestation investigation.

Investigators said an undercover Winder Police officer posed as a 34-year-old mother of an 8-year-old girl. They said the officer chatted online with David Alan Wolf of Rock Hill, S.C., for two weeks. On Tuesday, August 28, police said Wolf traveled from South Carolina to Winder, intending to have sexual relations with what he thought was a 34-year-old woman and her 8-year-old daughter. Police said Wolf was very explicit as to his intentions regarding the sexual acts in the online chats.
Wolf was arrested and taken to the Barrow County Detention Center.
