ATLANTA -- Look closely because there are plenty of pictures of them.

If you know who they are and turn them in, you could get up to $25,000 in reward money.

That's the offer right now for some bank robbers being called the "dread gang".

They got the nickname because one or more of them wear dreadlocks.

The FBI and several metro Atlanta police departments believe the robbing crew has pulled off a rash of recent bank holdups.

The first was the Fifth Third Bank on Piedmont Road in Atlanta's Buckhead area on August 9th.

They struck again at the PNC bank on Mount Vernon Road in Dunwoody on August 20th.

A BB&T branch got hit on Dallas Highway in Marietta on August 28th.

Now the FBI is trying to find out if they're also responsible for robbing a Wells Fargo on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs Thursday morning.

Then Thursday afternoon the same First Third Bank in Buckhead that was hit on August 9th was robbed again, almost three weeks to the exact hour.

Most of the suspects are described as slim or medium built young males in their late teens or 20's, just under six feet tall

They usually wear sweatshirts or hoodies and blue jeans.

At least one of them has several tattoos on his arms.

In most cases as least one leaps over a bank counter while brandishing a pistol.

In some cases they fled on foot, but in the August 28th Marietta robbery they left in what's believed to be an older model silver or light grey Buick Park Avenue sedan.

The FBI has even put up a billboard on Atlanta area highways with a close up picture of one of the suspects.

Anyone with information on who they are is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
