ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Police bomb squad and Department of Homeland Security crews responded to a home in the 2900 block of Delmar Lane in Southwest Atlanta Friday morning.
Police said officers from Zone One had confirmed that a hand grenade had been found in the yard of a home there. The device had been found by the resident of the home. Atlanta police later said the grenade was a replica. No injuries were reported.
