MONROE, Ga -- An elderly man crashed his car into a handrail at a Wendy's restaurant on Monday around noon.
According to the Monroe Police Department, the car hit the handrail in front of the Wendy's at 1117 West Spring Street after the man stepped on the gas. The rail popped and hit an exterior window.
People were in the restaurant at the time, but no one was hurt. The driver suffered no injuries.
