TEMPLE, Ga. -- A 64-year-old Temple man is out on $5,000 bond, after being arrested for necrophilia.
Wade Davis was arrested at his home on Enterprise Lane on September 18, according to Temple Police Chief Timothy Shaw. He said Davis had only moved there a couple weeks earlier.
The police chief identified the victim was a 33-year-old woman who was acquainted with Davis. Her name will not be released, though next of kin has been notified.
A death investigation is underway, and additional charges are possible.
For now Davis has only been charged with one count of necrophilia, which is why he was able to bond out on Sunday.
