ROSWELL, Ga. -- Three Centennial High School students went to the hospital Tuesday after reportedly taking too much cold medicine at school.
"There were some students who reported to one faculty member that other students had taken some medicine," said Fulton County School spokeswoman Samantha Evans. "The faculty member talked to the students involved and discovered that the small group had taken more than the allowed dose of Mucinex."
Evans said there were four students in all. When their parents were notified, she said three of the students decided to go North Fulton Hospital to get checked out, as a precaution. She said the fourth student's family decided to go home.
The school plans to send a note out to all Centennial parents about what happened.
