ATLANTA -- It's going to be another fun-filled fall weekend around Atlanta.
The Atlanta Pride Festival returns to Piedmont Park this weekend. The big parade is Sunday at 1 p.m. It begins at the Civic Center MARTA station and winds its way through the city to Piedmont Park. Two related parades take place Saturday.
Looking for a reason to bust out those lederhosen? Look no further than the free Oktoberfest at Meehan's Public House in Atlantic Station Saturday. The all day event will feature beer specials, German fare, pub games and a performance by a Bon Jovi tribute band.
The 2nd annual Atlanta Mattress 500 is a great reason to roll out of bed Sunday. Teams race beds on wheels around Atlantic Station for fun and charity. Proceeds benefit the Furniture Bank of Atlanta to provide bedding for those in need. The race begins at 11:30 a.m.
The Stone Mountain Pumpkin Festival runs every Friday through Sunday in October. There are all sorts of fall activities for the whole family. Kids are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes to join The Mayor's Rockin' Costume Party.
