ATLANTA -- Mia Cruse, the 18-year-old Westlake High School senior who vanished over the weekend, has been found.
Fulton County Police spokeswoman Melissa Parker said Cruse was found Tuesday morning.
The detective working the case said a friend called investigators to say he'd received a call from Cruse, saying she was at Campbell High School in Smyrna. Parker said Smyrna police officers were dispatched to Campbell High, where they found Cruse. There was no immediate word about the teen's condition.
Investigators say Cruse was last seen Friday evening. Police believe she may have attended a Friday night football game at either Westlake or Campbell High.
Investigators say Cruse told her grandmother she's found a ride home from the game.
But police say Cruse then texted a friend for help and tried to call 911 before her phone went dead.
