WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- Woodstock Police confirm a pedestrian was killed on Interstate 575 Wednesday night.
The incident happened at around 10:15 p.m. on I-575 south near Ridgewalk Parkway.
Investigators say 42-year-old Jamie Lynn Sanborn of Ball Ground was hit by a Nissan Altima driven by a 22-year-old Acworth woman.
Police said they took blood from the driver to determine whether she was drinking when she struck Sanborn.
There were no more immediate details about the crash.
