KENNESAW, Ga. -- An overnight S.W.A.T. situation in Kennesaw has ended with an accused shooter's surrender.
Cobb County S.W.A.T. team members surrounded a home on Bozeman Lake Road early Friday morning.
Neighbors said police officers knocked on their doors at about 1:30 a.m., asking them to leave their homes and turn off their outside lights while they negotiated with the accused shooter.
Police aren't calling the situation a standoff because they said the man surrendered when they called him outside using a blowhorn and did not resist police.
The shooting victim, meanwhile, was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
