ATLANTA -- A missing woman who was last seen at the Atlanta airport was found in New Jersey.
Atlanta Police spokesman John Chafee said Wendy Lynette Beardslee was found safe Monday afternoon.
Beardslee arrived at the airport on a Delta flight from Rio de Janeiro on Oct. 29, according to Atlanta Police spokeswoman Kim Jones.
Airport records show that Beardslee made it through U.S. Customs and picked up two checked bags when she arrived in Atlanta. She was supposed to take a connecting flight to Los Angeles.
No immediate details about her recovery were available.
