ATLANTA -- Georgia Lottery officials said the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing has grown to $143 million for a single annuity winner.
The jackpot has rolled nine times since the last winning ticket in the multi-state game was drawn on Oct. 6.

Lottery players have two options -- the annuity option, which pays the $143 million out over 29 years, or the cash option, which gives winners a lump sum payment of $92 million.
Tickets for Powerball are $2 per game.
