ROSWELL, Ga. -- Two Atlanta-area bridal boutiques are participating in a nationwide wedding gown giveaway for military brides.

Every year, Brides Across America teams up with shops across the country to donate designer gowns at no charge to women who have served in the military or whose fiances are serving overseas.

Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique in Roswell will hold its gown giveaway on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

"We are so grateful for the servicemen and women who are showing their commitment to our country. There is no better way to thank them than to help them celebrate their wedding," Wedding Angels owner Jacqueline Westney said in a statement.

Last year, Wedding Angels gave away more than 100 dresses during its Brides Across America event.

Bravura Bridal in Cumming will also participate in the wedding dress giveaway on Thursday, Nov. 15 and Friday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
