Walmart's Black Friday Deals begin at 8pm Thanksgiving night this year, two hours earlier than last year.
Early deals include toys and games. Then, at 10 pm, the retailer has an assortment of discounts on electronics. One of the most popular is expected to be the iPad 2, which is $399 but comes along with a $75 Walmart gift card.
Walmart is guaranteeing they will have enough stock for everyone who is in the store or lined up outside between 10 and 11 pm on the iPad2, a 32 inch Emerson HDTV (720p) for $148, and and LG BluRay players for $38. Click here to view the full ad.
Best Buy's has released a preview of some of the deals it will feature. It includes a 40 inch Toshiba TV (1080p)for $148.
Both stores also have mid level laptops for under $200.
Retailers are cutting in store prices to try to compete with online retailers, but shoppers who want to skip all the crowds will find plenty of internet deals as well.
Pay Pal is the latest to jump on the price matching bandwagon, promising it will match prices for both brick and mortar and online retailers, except for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
