Atlanta police found a body in a vacant house on 3rd Avenue Monday morning.
ATLANTA -- Two bodies were found at two different Southwest Atlanta addresses Monday morning.
The first body was found shortly before 7 a.m. in the front yard of a home on South Gordon Street. That's near Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard and Cascade Avenue.
Atlanta Police Spokesman Sgt. Gregory Lyon said the man had been shot to death, but no other details were immediately available.
Another body, believed to be female, was found at about 9:45 a.m. at a vacant house on 3rd Avenue. That's near Cleveland Avenue and Interstate 75.
Officers found the body while responding to a call about a person down. A homicide unit was called in to investigate.
No other details were available.
