Marietta police arrest burglary crime spree suspects

MARIETTA, Ga. -- Police arrested three men on Monday for multiple burglaries of Marietta homes.

According to police, the men went on a crime spree in the Whitlock Heights Subdivision within six days, between October 31 and November 6. Three homes were burglarized, the men attempted to strike a fourth. 

Two men from Marietta, Racheal Coleman, 26 and Timothy Lamar Carter, 23, and Kevin Cortez Till, 25 of East Point, were identfied after deep investigation that involved the victims and witnesses.

Coleman is charged with three counts of Burglary, Theft by Rec, Theft by Deception, and Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act (VGCSA). Carter is also charged with three counts of Burglary, VGCSA and Criminal Trespass Damage. Three counts of Burglary went to Till, and a count of Criminal Trespass Damage.

Police carried out search warrants at all three suspects' residences, and recovered items that the men had stolen. Police said the detectives also found property from a burglary in another area, and recovered it as well.
