Thanksgiving Day is special, with many families and friends getting together for a traditional dinner, but at the same time, lots of organizations need our community support to provide a Thanksgiving to those less fortunate.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank and its partner agencies are looking for help on Thanksgiving Day. Different shifts are available to assist with everything from greeting guests to helping serve the holiday meal.
Safe House Outreach will hold a special Chili outreach event the Saturday after Thanksgiving on November 24th. Volunteers are needed to bring paper goods, socks, blankets, and help provide food as well.
Piedmont Park is looking for volunteers this season to help out with their Clean & Green Makeover team during the holiday.
Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless has seen an outpouring of volunteer support and is now are signing up volunteers for their Christmas events in December.
