USATODAY -- On Tuesday, Tim Tebow spent his off day promoting Tivo. Following a report in Wednesday's New York Daily News, Tebow may want to turn off his television for the rest of the week.
The story sampled more than a dozen Jets players and members of the organization on Tebow's readiness as a starting quarterback and the feedback was not very positive.
"He's terrible," a defensive starter told the paper.
And it wasn't just anonymous players criticizing Tebow, who hasn't been able to summon the magic he found in leading Denver on a playoff run last season in New York.

"It's not even close," guard Matt Slauson said when comparing Tebow to starter Mark Sanchez, who has a league worst 52 percent completion rate. "All the other quarterbacks know it. I have all the confidence in Mark. We don't really have a choice. We have Greg [McElroy, the team's third-string quarterback] . . . and we have an athlete."
Tebow's teammates weren't the only ones doubting him on Tuesday. In an interview on WFAN, Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw said the Jets made a huge mistake in trading for the former Heisman winner.
"They were never satisfied. For whatever reason, they had to have Tim Tebow. Huge mistake. His body of work in Denver didn't warrant the fact that he came to the Jets - look at the chaos that it's created. People wanting this guy to play," Bradshaw said. "I don't know him, but he just can't play."
It ought to be quite an interesting scene when the team's locker room opens after practice Wednesday afternoon.
