ATLANTA -- A hipster pizza joint has new owners.

Little Five Points Pizza changed hands Nov. 15. Inman Park residents Forrest Briese and his wife, Ana "Lou" Ernst, bought the neighborhood staple for an undisclosed amount.

As newbies to the restaurant business, the couple says they want maintain the tradition of Little Five Points Pizza, located at 422 Seminole Ave. in the grungy Little Five Points neighborhood. They won't change the name or menu, at least right now.

"It's kind of an Atlanta institution," Briese said. "We're not looking to change things dramatically. We're certainly going to clean some things up."

Steve Josovitz with Atlanta-based The Shumacher Group Inc. represented the seller, Mike Kent, in the deal that closed Thursday. Josovitz said Kent is retiring after 40 years in the pizza business.
