Grooves in the asphalt from oil plug impact.
BRASELTON -- After passing an orange warning sign on Highway 124 in Braselton, driver Eric Brown braced himself for a bump. But when his car plunged in to a steep dip in the asphalt, he knew he was in trouble.
After hearing an agonizing scraping sound from underneath his car, Eric pulled over and saw oil pouring from the ruptured oil pan. He called a tow truck and his car taken to a mechanic.
Then, he contacted 11Alive for two reasons. One; To help get the road fixed to spare other drivers from suffering a similar fate. And two; To ask Commuter Dude how to get reimbursed for the damage.
